The publication includes River Basin Analysis of the Pivdenny Bug done according to the EU Water Framework Directive requirements and relevant measures. The River Basin Analysis covers water bodies delineation and typology and identification of significant water management issues (organic, nutrient, hazardous pollution and hydromorphological alterations). Based on the historical data as well as field surveys, conducted in 20102011, the ecological and chemical status of the water bodies of the main river – Pivdenny Bug are assessed. For the first time, the concentrations of total phosphorus and total nitrogen are defined for the main river as well as reference conditions. Based on the river basin analysis, the primary measures for restoration of the Southern Bug basin are identified. The measures include first of all reorganization of water monitoring: hydrochemical, hydrobiological and hydromorphological monitoring – network, parameters, frequency, methodology used, institutional changes (organization of the work of laboratory, distribution of functions, needed qualification), list of needed equipment and cost of the proposed monitoring program. The RBMP was developed in frame of SIDA / SEPA project “Institutional strengthening and capacity building for the Ukrainian River Basin Management Authority (Pivdenny Bug), implemented in 2009– 2013. The main beneficiary is State Agency of Water Resources, and the recipient is Pivdenny Bug River Basin Authority. The goal of the project is to reinforce of the basin principles of water management at national and regional levels by means of implementation of integrated water resources management following EU Water Framework Directive.


Regulation of the voltage spectrum of traction substations of electric transport: monograph / B. I. Mokin, O. A. Payanok.  Vinnitsa: VNTU, 2017.  116 p. The monograph analyzes known approaches and work on the development of stationary filters of higher harmonics of voltage and automatic regulators of the form of the voltage curve of the electric network, the levels of harmonics of voltage at the traction substations of the city electric transport. The new laws of automatic filtration of higher voltage harmonics of the traction substation of electric vehicles developed by the authors and authors synthesized by the structure of devices of automatic regulation of the voltage spectrum of the traction substation are described. The book is intended for engineers and technicians of the tram and trolleybus departments of the cities of Ukraine, in power plants which use traction substations for urban electric transport, students and postgraduates of electrical and transport specialties of higher educational institutions. 

Mathematical models and systems of automatic control of a wind electrotechnical complex with a vertical axis of rotation of a wind wheel: a monograph / B.I. Mokin, O.B. Mokin, O. A. Zhukov.  Vinnitsa: VNTU, 2017.  124 p. The analysis of known approaches and works, which considers the existing variants of wind power plants with vertical axis of rotation and their control systems. The new mathematical models and laws of control by a nondirect winding electrotechnical complex are described and the authors of the structure of devices of automatic control of a wind electrotechnical complex with a vertical axis of rotation are synthesized by the authors. It is designed for engineering and technical workers in the field of renewable energy and organizations involved in the design and operation of wind power plants, as well as students and postgraduates from universities.

The monograph covers new approaches in mathematical modeling of tasks of reproduction of parameters of modes of electric networks in the conditions of insufficient number of TVs. Conditions for solving such problems are determined. Due to the use in the space of complex electrotechnical parameters of a linear nonEuclidean metric, the uncertainty of the input data of such problems is reduced.
